Height: 5-9 1/2 German born Heidi Klum is one of the world's top models and also host of two reality television shows. She first became a model after entering and winning a modeling contest in Germany in 1992. She moved to Manhattan in October 1993 to pursue her modeling career. In 1997, Heidi walked the runway in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the first time. She hosted the shows in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2009. Heidi's fame soared when she landed on the cover of the 1998 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In December 2004, she became host and executive producer of Project Runway, a reality contest where fashion designers compete for money and to show their designs at NY Fashion Week. The show has aired on Bravo and Lifetime cable channels for nine seasons. Heidi has also been host, judge and producer of Germany's Next Top Model since 2006. Forbes magazine ranked Heidi the second-highest earning model with $20 million in earnings for 2011. Heidi was married to stylist Rick Pipino from 1997-2002. She is now married to the musician Seal since 2005. They have three children together. She also has another child from a previous relationship. |
