Height: 5-9 1/2 Gwyneth Paltrow was born in Los Angeles and is the daugher of actress Blythe Danner and director Bruce Paltrow. She starred in the movie Shakespeare in Love in 1998 where she won the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actress for her performance. She has also been in the films Iron Man, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Sliding Doors, A Perfect Murder, Bounce and Shallow Hal. Gwyneth has also extended her talents to music and recorded the title song from the film Country Strong in 2010. She performed at the 2011 Academy Awards by singing the song Coming Home from the movie. She also appeared on the Fox TV show Glee in 2010 where she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. She also did a duet with Cee-Lo singing his hit song Forget You at the Grammy Awards in 2011. Gwyneth launched a website in 2008 called Goop.com with a weekly lifestyle newsletter covering fashion, travel and food. She also wrote a cookbook in 2011 called My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness. Gwyneth has been married to singer Chris Martin, lead singer of the English band Coldplay, since 2003. They have two children together. She has previously dated actors Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. |
